WAS YOUR FLIGHT DELAYED OR CANCELLED?
You may be owed up to £520 (UK261) or €600 (EU261) for each passenger on your booking.
Most claim companies keep between 35% to 50% of whatever the airline pays. We charge one flat fee £9.99 instead, so you keep 100% of your compensation.

How FlightPayout works
Three steps. One flat fee. Nothing taken from your compensation.
1. Check your flight
Enter your route and date. We check them against UK261 and EU261 time limits before you pay anything.
2. Get your documents
Pay a flat fee £9.99. We write up your 3-page claim documents from your details and email them to you straight away within 60 seconds, along with other documents you may need if they initially reject your claim citing an Extraordinary condition. We will supply you with everything you will need from start to finish with your claim.
3. Send it and keep 100%
Submit the documents to the airline yourself. You receive 100% of your compensation paid directly from the airline. We take no commission.
What is in your documents
A clear, printable record of your claim, built from the details you give us:
- Your flight facts and exact door-opening delay
- The correct compensation tier, worked out by great-circle distance
- The UK261 & EU261 regulations and the appropriate case law behind them
- The total owed for everyone on your booking
- All documents needed to assist you with your claim
How our flat fee compares
For example: a family of 4 on a flight where the compensation is £520 each, so £2,080 in total.
Traditional Claim Companies
They work on a “no win, no fee” basis and take a standard 35% of what they win for you. If your case has to go to court, that fee rises to at least 50%.
For a family of 4 owed £2,080, they keep up to £1,040 of your compensation.
You receive: £1,352 at 35%, or £1,040 at 50%.
Payouts can be delayed for months while they work through their own internal legal process and payments are usually made direct to the claims company.
FlightPayout
You pay a flat fee of £9.99 upfront. That is the only cost. No hidden fees!
You keep 100% of the compensation the airline pays you: £2,080 for a family of 4, less the £9.99 fee.
You receive: £2,080 direct from the airline without having to wait for a claims company to pay you.
We write up your 3-page claim documents and email them to you straight away. You then send them to the airline yourself.
Traditional company fees vary. The 35% and 50% figures are the typical ones. FlightPayout prepares your documents; you send the claim to the airline yourself, and the airline’s decision is out of our hands.
What happened to your flight?
Delayed Flight (3+ Hours)
Your delay is counted until the cabin door opens at the gate, not from when the wheels touch the runway.
Cancelled Flight (Short-Notice)
You are owed cash compensation on top of your ticket refund if the airline told you less than 14 days before you were due to fly.
Involuntary Overbooking
If you are turned away against your will due to an overbooked cabin, the airline owes you an immediate fixed cash debt.
Cabin Downgrades (Article 10)
Being moved to a lower class triggers an absolute statutory cash refund percentage of up to 75% of your ticket leg.
